Matt + Kim's wedding album

I am in love.  Album Epoca has won my heart.
From the moment I saw the big white box waiting for me when I got home the other night, I was overwhelmed with excitement. I almost teared up when I saw it was shipped direct right from Italy.
Matt and Kim's Wedding Album had arrived. My very first wedding album since starting my business just a year ago. #milestone
I made a decision to go with these particular albums with because of the artistry and craft that go into making them.
Not to mention the awesome variety that they offer! Wait until you see the cover for my sample album! This album is perfect for Matt and Kim. The leather cover, the 'arum lily' imprint, the gorgeous pictures, their smiles beaming back at me, all the way to the final touch, my name plate at the end of the album. i was breathless

Album Epoca, you have me for life.

I want to show you what my words can not. My only regret is not recording Matt and Kim's reaction last night of them opening their very first family heirloom. So it was an honor to witness them re-live that special day just over a year ago when they embarked on their amazing life-long journey together.
I am honored I got to be such a great part of preserving their special day.

Yep. It's even wrapped in satin...

Love.
Now isn't that better than a disc?

It's up to you.

Album Epoca ladies and gentlemen. Only the best for my brides :)

Couldn't have said it better myself.

Melisa & Damon

Saturday September 22 was an absolutely beautiful day to get married. I couldn't have been happier to spend the day with Melisa & Damon. They picked a magnificent venue. Gervasi Vineyard in Canton is a little slice of Italy in our own back yard. Every single detail in the Villas from the plaster walls to the oversized wooden doors to the sprawling vineyard in every direction gave the day that extra special touch. Everyone was just blown away. And to be there with these two people, it was perfect.
Melisa and Damon are very much in love. You could see it in their eyes, all day, every time they smiled at one another. And, I have to mention it, Damon's reaction to seeing her the first time was one of the sweetest things I've ever seen. They were both just totally happy and having a blast all day.
Even when a HUGE storm came through about 20 minutes after the ceremony. It soaked everything, and we couldn't go out and shoot the landscape like we would've liked. It didn't even phase them, they were just having a good time. Who knew we would have the opportunity later to go out and get some of those special shots. That dip of them kissing in the vineyard is hands down, one of my favorite pictures I've ever taken.
Thank you to the happy couple for letting me capture your day. It was an absolute blast, and I wish the two of you the absolute best. Enjoy some of my favorites, and at the end, check out the slideshow from the day! ~

Brandon + Amber

What can I say about Brandon and Amber. My beautiful friends, beautiful in so many different ways.  If you know me, you know that I consider my closest friends family. There isn’t much I wouldn’t do for them.  I count these two in that category. I love these guys.
And a long time ago, I think it was the Zephyr in Kent, Amber confided in me that the two of them had decided to take off and get married in Washington State. They had the most perfect place picked out. They knew it was far away, and how not everyone would be able to swing it, and  yadda yadda. I looked her right in the eye, and said, ‘well you know you can count me and jim in.’ I didn’t even wait for her to ask. It was settled. And from that moment on… I was tingling with excitement about this trip.
We were going to the west coast. And we are going to the side of a big ol’ mountain to see our sweet beautiful friends get married. It turned out 31 people total made the trip to just outside Mount Rainer National Park. We stayed in the most beautiful place imaginable. Hands down. I’ve never been anywhere so magical. We had awesome cabins in the middle of the woods, and we were surrounded by a wonderful group of family and friends.
The sanctuary in the middle of the forest was breathtaking. The bridal cottage looked like it came right out of a fairy tale. It couldn’t have been more perfect for these two. I’m so incredibly happy for them. And completely honored that they let me capture their story, and share it’s beauty.

Wow, those are some great pictures :)
And now, please enjoy their slideshow.

Sara & Mike

It was a beautiful day in downtown Willoughby. I had the pleasure of shooting Sara & Mike's engagement photos. It was great getting a chance to get to know these two a little better. They are very much in love and are extremely sweet to one another. You can tell when they look in each others eyes. Their love just beams of their faces. I'm very much looking forward to capturing their special day next year. Can't wait. But until then, here are a couple of my favorites from the day.

Can't wait guys!
Here is a slideshow of the whole shoot!
